Dileep’s Passenger gets green signal

Debutant director Ranjit Shankar’s Passenger, has been cleared by the Thiruvananthapuram Regional censors with a clean ‘U’ certificate.

The film has Sreenivasan, Dileep, Mamta Mohandas, Lakshmi Sharma, Madhu, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisri Asokhan and others in the cast. The story is about Sreenivasan who works in a private firm and travels to work regularly in a local passenger train.

Dileep plays a lawyer and Mamta plays a television reporter.Says director Ranjit Shankar: “The film has characters with newness and is treated in a different way.” All those who saw a sneek preview of the film and the report from the censors are very encouraging.

Passenger, will be stopping at 50 odd stations in Kerala through its distributors Central Pictures from May 7. The film promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller which is sure to go well with the family audiences.
