Mammootty, the megastar of Malayalam has been shooting for a Tamil film titled Aruvadai with Arjun for the last three years. But the film is yet to see the light of the day.
Now it looks like, the actor himself has given up on the film, making it to the screen!
The latest we hear is that Mammootty has given the green signal to dub all his Malayalam hits into Tamil. The latest film that is being dubbed in to Tamil is his 2007 blockbuster Rajamanickam.
Remember, earlier the film was planned to be remade in Tamil with Sarathkumar, but the idea was dropped.
Yokesh Movie Makers are dubbing Rajamanickam, directed by Anwar Rasheed into Tamil with the same title. The Tamil re- recording has been done by Deva and the film has Rahman in a supporting role, while Padmapriya is the heroine.
