Rani all set to be far madder than 'Babli' in 'Aiyyaa'

The character of Meenakshi Deshpande has made an instant impression and 'Aiyyaa' should soon be heard and seen in nooks and corners of the country.

Rani Mukherjee, in the character of Meenakshi, has managed to make a very big first impression and while the film is now all set to be unveiled before the audience, she goes on to add that in the film she is portraying someone far madder than iconic 'Babli' that she played in 'Bunty aur Babli' (2005).

"Meenakshi is a mad and whacko character which is many steps ahead in 'paagalpandi' when compared to 'Babli'", says Rani in her characteristic animated tone, "I know that last time when people saw me like that, it was seven years ago.

If they found that to be bubbly and naughty then watch me in 'Aiyyaa'.?
Well, we would see when the film releases all over on 12th October.

Directed by Sachin Kundalkar who is making his Bollywood debut with the film, 'Aiyyaa' with music by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya also marks the arrival of Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran.
